The second music for Meditation and Healing concert in London took place on 2nd September at the common wealth institute in London.

Pujya Sri Swamiji had come here earlier in 1997. Dr. L. Subramaniam, internationally acclaimed renowned violinist and a devotee of Sri Swamiji came to London just to accompany Sri Swamiji on this concert.

Dr. Nanda Kumar, Executive Director of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, lit the inaugural lamp. Mita Patel spoke on Sri Swamiji and the healing music as propagated by Sri Swamiji. Smt. Kailas Mistry gave Sri Swamiji the welcome garland. Dr. P.V. Nath who was recently given the title MBE, also gave the welcome garland. He has translated the unabridged English biography of Pujya Swamiji.

Dr. L. Subramaniam on violin, Jaitra Varanasi on violin, Kittu on Harmonium, Joe Krishna on support key board, Manu on guitar, Shankar Ramesh on Mridangamn and Radha Krishna on Tabala accompanied Sri Swamiji. Sri Swamiji played the Ragas Gana Murti, Hamsa Nandi, Kiravani and Kalyani.

Dr. L. Subramaniam's sonorous playing and deft finger movements and timely intervention and support took the playing of Sri Swamiji to newer heights. After the concert, Sri Swamiji honored Dr. PV Nath with a garland and presented the Bhajan books containing the multilingual compositions of Sri Swamiji to the library of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. Dr. Nanda Kumar honored the artists after the concert.
