Sri Swamiji arrived in Madras Ashrama quite late in the night on 12th April 2003 at 11 PM from Hyderabad.

On 13th morning, Sri Swamiji made surprise visit to the house of Late Sri Gopalan. His family members comforted in the divine company of Sadguru Deva for over 30 minutes. Later Sri Swamiji visited the new sound recording studio of noted film music director Sri Mani Sharma.

The morning Sri Chakra Puja was well attended. In the evening Sri Swamiji sang a few Bhajans. But most of the time was spent in individual conversations with all devotees. It was quite emotional for many to directly speak to Sadgurudeva than to silently pour forth in front of photos or thru letters. In the evening Sri Swamiji announced the decision to build a Raja Rajeshwari temple and said that there was a devotee who was preparing to come and build. Suddenly, Vijaya Sarathy, Managing Trustee of the well known publishers, Lifco (Little flower company) came forward to do the same. He explained that three years ago Swamiji had blessed him with a Raja Rajeshwari pendant and upon inquiry from Late Gopalan why he got that, Swamiji's crypt reply was "He will know in coming years. Just a couple a days earlier, Mr. Vijaya Sarathy had dreamt of Raja Rajeshwari" Sri Swamiji later visited the Datta, Hanuman temple and inspected the site of proposed Devi temple.

On April 14th, 2003, the much anticipated, Tamil New Year day, VISHU came. Sri Swamiji chaired the Trustees meeting in the Ashrama. At 10 AM, Sri Swamiji inaugurated a small library in the Ashrama premises. Later Sri Chakra Puja was held. Dr.L. Subramaniam played Keeravani Alap during the Puja. Later, Mr. Raghavendra, singer from Vijaya TV sang few Bhajans.

Sri Swamiji in the new Year message conveyed that the new year holds more good news in store and after November good times are set to return.

More than thousand devotees came and had Paduka Sparsha and Sri Swamiji gave them a Rupee coin as Prasadam from the Lakshmi Puja done on this new year day. Sri Swamiji offered Purnahuti of Lakshmi Kubera Homa.

In the evening, Sri Swamiji sang the new Yugadi Bhajan, newly composed and rendered in Tamil. The Tamil devotees who had not heard new Tamil Bhajans by Sri Swamiji were over joyed. (click here to download the mp3 of the Bhajan).

Later Sri Datta Venkata software company staff showed a preview of the animated program they had done with Sri Swamiji's 108 names. Various stages of Sri Swamiji's life were depicted when the audio of the 108 names were sung. Sri Swamiji suggested several modifications to be introduced before the final product was released.

Sri Swamiji visited the proposed site for Devi temple again and spent some time explaining the modalities Sri Swamiji wanted to be introduced in the temple construction.

Sri Swamiji left for Mysore on 15th April 2003 at 10 AM.
