His Holiness Parama Pujya Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji visited the United Arab Emirates between 6th January 2011 and 13th January 2011. Sri Swamiji arrived on 6th January 2011 and proceeded to Dubai, one of the seven emirates of the UAE. On the second day, Sri Swamiji toured the pristine waters of the Arabian Gulf & Sea. The third day included a visit to the awe-inspiring Burj Khalifa – The World's tallest tower. Beautiful spectacles invited Sri Swamiji at the World's highest observatory on the 124th floor. A civic reception was held on 10th January to welcome Pujya Sri Swamiji to the UAE. Sri Swamiji in His brief discourse advised devotees to practice Mouna (silence) as far as possible and said that our talk should be brief, meaningful and sweet. He further cautioned to abstain from unnecessary and hurtful talk and conserve the energy for useful purposes like chanting the names of the Lord or chanting Mantra given by the Guru. His Holiness prodded everyone to have a "Budget For Life", that is to conserve every bit of energy and utilise the same productively. All the devotees were also instructed to utilise the latest technology in their spiritual pursuits and especially in being in touch with Sri Swamiji's activities. More than 200 devotees were lucky strong blessed audience who turned up at a very short notice. Later on Sri Swamiji showered immense blessings on all the devotees by moving around in the impressive auditorium located at the very scenic "Events Center" of The Intercontinental – Dubai Festival City.
The fifth day took Sri Swamiji to the exquisite locales of Al Ain, a lush green oasis city in the middle of a desert in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The extraordinary Mercure Grand Hotel perched on top of sand stone hill at approximately 900 meters was a sight that impressed Sadgurudeva. Al Ain welcomed Sri Swamiji surprisingly with temperatures of around 15 degrees C and pleasant showers which is not a typical Climate during this time time of the year for this region. The Al Ain Paradise and the Green Mubazarrah also welcomed Sri Swamiji with beautiful smile and open arms. The Al Ain Paradise holds the world record for the maximum number of hanging flower pots in the world – approximately 2300. Sixth day of the stay was spent amidst the pristine sands of the Arabian desert which included a visit to the Dubai Wild life conservation reserve. At the entrance to the reserve Sri Swamiji spent a few happy moments with a Garuda (falcon). Later on, Sri Swamiji proceeded to bless a couple of Hanumat Vahanas (Camels). During the visit to the Desert Sri Swamiji declared and expressed His happiness that the people and devotees of UAE are very blessed to be a part of the historic 108 World Tour of Sri Swamiji. Sri Swamiji said that "An Ashtottara of World Tours are completed by Him".
On 13th January 2011, Sri Swamiji flew back to India leaving behind an extremely satisfied and gleeful group of UAE devotees. In Sri Swamiji's Own words this was indeed "A Surprise Visit".
