His Holiness visited Kadiri Ashrama to supervise the Marakata Maha Lakshmi (the first of its kind in the world) temple that is under construction.

His Holiness was received with Purnakumbha by the devotees and was appraised about the construction activities taking place in Kadiri. His Holiness gave appropriate suggestions and blessed the devotees with a beautiful message.

Pujya Sri Swamiji’s Message

All of you chant in unison-
Sri Mahaganapataye Namah,
Sri Saraswatyei Namah,
Sri Padavallabha,
Nrusimha Saraswati,
Sri Guru Dattatreyaya Namah.

This lunar month of Kartika is very auspicious for all spiritual practices like Yagya, Vratas etc. Ritual practices during this month relieve all our sins and all the turmoil and conflicts of our mind. This is the month where the energies of Vishnu, Shiva and Lakshmi are present in abundance. Some people call them deities, some consider them as energies. These energies must be tapped by us. We must absorb such energies. We must merge into such energies. Therefore it is imperative that we practice Satsang during this period (i.e. company of the noble and virtuous people). As a part of the Satsang activities, we have reached Kadiri today. As soon as we utter the name Kadiri, Lord Narasimha flashes to our mind. Many of us don’t realize the importance of our local deities. People from outside have to come and tell us- just as Yashoda Mata who could not recognize Lord Krishna as an incarnation, just like you do not know the importance of the medicinal weed growing in the backyard of your house, just like the importance of Sanjeevini growing in the Himalayas was known only after Hanuman showed it, we will realize the importance of this Kshetra and Sadguru at some later point of time. This is a Maha Yagya (a great sacrifice). We will realize the importance of this sacred Marakata Lakshmi temple many years later just like the Marakata Raja Rajeshwari temple of Vijayawada. We must all participate in this Yagya (ritual). Yagya, Puja etc., are important for us as long as we have this body. We might be very scholarly, we might be atheists, we might be adamant in our beliefs, we might be doing lot of social works, we might claim to be scientific in our approach, we might be filthy rich, we might be physically strong, we might be very influential, yet all of us need to do something that is very personal for us, that activity helps us to pool our energy. When we are facing mental agony, we always want to be left alone, even wife, children and friends are in vain at that time. We are searching for Tejas (energy) at that time. In sorrow, depression, disappointment or even extreme happiness we seek loneliness to reboot that energy gap, refill that lacuna. When there is dirt in turbulent waters, just stagnate the water for some time and the dirt settles down, similarly the emotional flirts that occur in the mind need to be addressed with calmness that is personal and akin only to you. It is but natural you seek loneliness in such situations.

Swamiji wanted to visit this place at this particular auspicious time dragged by the devotion of many of you. After a brief visit to Puttaparty and offering Purnahuti to the fire sacrifice, Swamiji came running to see you all, impressed by your dedication and devotion to this temple construction. You should also come to your Sadguru like that. He understands your feelings. Your attachment to Guru itself is the energy. Mother Goddess Lakshmi blesses us with happiness and removes all the sorrows. Without hesitation or shyness, participate in this Yagya in your own capacity. We waste money in many things like share market. If you give it for this noble cause then Mother will give much more to you in return. This contribution you make will be eternal. You are lucky that you have joined your Sadguru in this work. Marakata Lakshmi removes our miseries and bestows health, wealth and prosperity. Swamiji will also consecrate Sri Chakra here. This will be a unique temple of its kind. Be a part of it and uplift yourself.
