As described earlier, Pujya Sri Swamiji got a holy message/ ordain of Lord Siva thru the darshan of Nandi to visit the holy temple of Pashupati Nath, in Kathmandu city, Nepal. As if to reaffirm or to acknowledge the arrival of Sri Swamiji at Pashupati Nath Temple, an ox just crossed the route of Sri Swamiji at the entrance of the Temple. This appeared nothing but a miracle/ mystic ways of the almighty.
His Holiness was reverentially welcomed by the Temple administrator Sri Prema Hari Dhungana. On 20th Evening, the Chaturdashi day, Chhayaa Darshan of ShivaÕs southern face (Aghora) was the highlight. Sri Rama Bhat Karant, one of the four officiating Chief Priests from Karnataka conducted the Puja.
21st February was the holy Magha Poornima day. On this day, Pancha Amrita Abhishekam was performed to eastern face of Pashupati Nath Shivalinga with 25 Pots of Milk, Curds, Ghee, Honey and Sugar. The eastern face is called as "TATPURUSHA". In the evening, special Anna Archana was conducted for 3 hours.
Sri Datta Vijayananda Teertha (Bala Swamy) accompanied Sri Swamiji in this pilgrimage along with a fortunate group of 30 persons. Earlier in the morning, Sri Swamiji was reverentially honoured in a reception by Nepal Veda Vidyasrama, one of the oldest and foremost institutes of Vedic Studies in Nepal. Sri Madhav, Principal along with other Pundits, professors offered respects. Sanskrit poems, songs were rendered in honour of Sri Swamiji. His Holiness announced that an amount of Rs.1,60,000/- would be donated for the student Annadana program of the school.
Though very short, less than 24 hours, the visit of Parama Pujya Sri Swamiji to Nepal had a great impact and culminating ceremony to the Yagna conducted at Pithapuram, last month and served as a sequel to the ordain of Lord Shiva.
