Nadupalani is a great Subrahmanya Temple Kshetram in Northern Tamilnadu, approximate 100 km. from Chennai. Upon the insistence and request from the Founder Sri Muttu Swamy, a great Siddha, this temple came into the fold of Sri Swamiji. This Temple, worshipped by hundreds of thousands every year, was renovated at a cost of nearly 50 Lakh rupees, adding facilities to pilgrims. Guru Nilayam was constructed by Venkatesa Reddiar family, atop the hill. Radha Krishna Ramachandra Iyer Family and other devotees had the fortune of Seva for renovation of the main Temple.
Sri Swamiji spent 4 days on the hill and consecrated Marakata Subrahmanya Swamy on 24th February 2008. This form of Subrahmanya is known as Dandayudha Paani, (a form holding a stick / wand instead of the spear, connoting the highest state of renunciation). Thousands of devotees, host of dignitaries, Adi Parashakti Peetham Representative Sri Anbalazhagan participated in the program. Discourse on the Dandayudha Paani incarnation and Nadupalani Kshetra Mahima was another important feature of the tour.
