
Parama Pujya Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Swamiji presented a rare music concert in New Delhi on 3rd February 2008. Sri Swamiji is well known for playing Ragas for Maladies whereby they use the healing powers to help a person.
The concert was inaugurated by Sri. Shivraj Patil, Union Home Minister. Mr. Tejender Khanna, Lieutenant Governor of New Delhi and Mr. Subbarami Reddy, Union Minister were present. On this occasion, a new audio CD “Namarchana” containing self composed Hindi Bhajans sung by Sri Swamiji was released.
During the concert, Pujya Sri Swamiji played seven Ragas viz Lalita, Nathabhairavi, Hamsanandam, Hindola, Sarasangi, Sri Ranjani and Dharmavati Ragas. These seven Ragas constituted the special piece composed by Swamiji.
Over 1000 people and many of Delhi’s prominent personalities attended the concert and felt carried away with the soulful and peaceful music. Mysore musicians, Jaitra, Ramesh, Mahesh and Mani accompanied Sri Swamiji.
Before the program started, the music video of Sri Swamiji, NADA BRAHMA was screened.
In the morning, a lecture and presentation of Music as can be used for therapy was held in the same venue.
