15th September (Vinayaka Chaturthi)
Kshipra Ganapati was consecrated in this Ashrama in 1981 by Sri Swamiji. Ever since, this place was more or less known as Ganapati Temple. Kshipra means swiftness. The alacrity, with which Lord Ganapati accedes to the prayers of devotees, bestows the name of Kshipra Ganapati. Morning program commenced with Milk Abhishekam to Ganapati followed by impromptu benedictory Vinayaka Chaturthi message of Sri Swamiji. Sri Swamiji spoke about Ganapati first and then referred to the inappropriate statement of the Indian Government about Sri Rama (negating his existence). He advised all those holding reigns of power not dabble with matters of faith pertaining to Crores of people and to heed to the sensitivities and aspirations of the majority of nation and believers worldwide. However, he cautioned all of Datta Devotees, not to get excited; but to pray to the Lord himself to salvage the situation and grant good sense to the rulers.

As Sahasra Modaka Maha Ganapati Homa was going on, Sri Chakra Puja, Varasiddhi Vinayaka Vratam were reverentially performed on the main stage.

In the evening, the bhajan session was telecast live by N TV - Bhakti Television (A devotional TV channel). Sri Swamiji was joined on chorus by Asthana Vidwans Malladi Brothers (Sri Rama Prasad and Sri Ravi). Sri Swamiji sung 17 scintillating Bhajans including compositions on Lord Ganesha. Later, Malladi Brothers and their father Sri Malladi Suri Babu had offered a CD Manodharma Sangeeta Deepika, a music tutorial for its release by Sri Swamiji. Sri Popuri Gouri Nath and Gayatri, classical vocalists from Vijayawada, (who sung Sri Swamiji’s bhajans in national television on this day) had offered a CD, a compilation of songs in praise of Lord Venkateshwara.
