Sri Swamiji visits Shankara Netralaya in Chennai

Sri Swamiji visited Chennai on 13 February 2006, en route from Pondicherry to Mysore. Sri Swamiji performed the 12th year Kumbhabhisheka of the small Ganapati Shrine in the house of Sri S.Chandrashekar in MRC Nagar. Sri Chandra Shekar has been a devotee for three decades. Sri Swamiji had performed the Ganapati shrine installation in 1991.

Later in the day Sri Swamiji visited the world renowned eye hospital "Shankara Netralaya" at the invitation of its founder Dr.S.S.Badarinathan. Sri Swamiji addressed employees and guests. In the message, Sri Swamiji spoke on the importance of self sacrifice for the well being of the society and lauded the care and efforts of Dr.Badarinathan and His team. Sri Swamiji urged everyone to get periodical health check ups done.

True to His speech, Sri Swamiji got the eyes examined by Dr.Badarinathan who proclaimed that Sri Swamiji's eyes were like text book eyes. Healthy.

On 14th February Sri Swamiji returned to Mysore, thus ending the 48 day tour of Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu.

On the tour, Sri Swamiji touched the hearts and lives of millions of people, giving hope to the disappointed, health to the weak, light to the darkened, spiritual vibrations to the seekers and Happiness to All.
