Devotees in Tamil Nadu were delighted to welcome the
Tamil New Year in the divine company of Sadguru Sri Swamiji who returned On 13th, Sri Swamiji spent the day in Ashrama with devotees. As it was Purnami, Pavamana Homa was performed by Sri.Venkoba Rao, who has been performing Pavamana Homa in Madras AShrama every full moon day for the past 9 years. Sri Bala Swamiji performed the Purnahuti. In the evening the Chennai devotees watched the recent Raga Sagara Healing music concert on a large screen and enjoyed the Hemavati Raga. Later Sri Swamiji sang Bhajans. On 14th April, Friday, the sacred Tamil New Year was celebrated in Ashrama. After the morning Sri Chakra Puja, Sri Swamiji blessed the Purnahuti of Lakshmi Homa. Two new Tamil books were released. The 4th volume of Bhajana Yoga, containing all the latest Bhajans of Sri Swamiji in Tamil script and the Translation of Datta Stava lecture given by Sri Swamiji. All devotees in the Ashrama had the opportunity of coming to Sri Swamiji and receive a one rupee coin as Lakshmi Puja Prasad and Blessings for the new year. This was a very special event indeed. In the evening, Sri Swamiji sang a new Tamil Bhajan on the new year. The tune is similar to the yugadi Bhajan - O'Vyaya". Eminent Mridangam Vidwan, Sri Karaikudi Mani accompanied on Mridangam. Hundreds of devotees had given a bhajan of their choice from the Bhajan book released in the morning (Bhajana Yoga-4). Sri Swamiji selected five Bhajans from out of the 100 odd requests and sang the chosen Bhajan. On 15th April morning, Sri Swamiji visited the Tattvaloka building in T-Nagar at the invitation of the members. Sri Swamiji's Tamil speech there was heard to be enjoyed. Sri Swamiji spoke on varieties of subjects but mainly on Seva. Sri Swamiji tone, gestures, soft silky smooth velvety voice, choice of Tamil words, pauses, were all amazing and wonderful. One senior member of the Sabha remarked "Swamiji's speech was like that of an grandpa to a grandchild sitting on his lap". In the evening, Sri Swamiji left for a ten day rest in south east asia.

constant source of energy, happiness, divinity and like the proverbial
