Sadguru Sri Swamiji in United Arab Emirates

Sadguru Sri Swamiji visited the United Arab Emirates for three days from 3rd November to 7th November 2005.

On 3rd, Sri Swamiji arrived in Dubai airport and proceeded to Abu dhabi - a 2 hour drive . That evening more than thirty families performed Pada Puja to Sri Swamiji.

On 4th morning, Sri Swamiji performed Sri Chakra Puja in a auditorium near by. During the Puja, the members of the local Pradosha Sangham chanted Rudra Prashna mantras and other Veda Mantras. Sri Sharma garu recited Telugu poems in honor of Sri Swamiji's third visit to the Arabian kingdom.

That evening, Healing music concert was arranged in the same venue. Sri Bhandari, High Commissioner of India to United Arab Emirates lit the inaugural lamp. A large contingent of accompanying musicians was a notable feature. The musicians were

Sri Ramu - Clarinet player- He first met Sri Swamiji when Sri Swamiji stayed in Kesere Ashrama in the early 1960s. Since then he has been a regular clarinet player for Bhajans in Mysore Ashrama. He control over the wind instrument is acclaimed.

Sri R.K.Raghavan -Veena musician - Elder brother of Late Sri R.K.Chandrashekar - the great violinist who has played with Sri Swamiji during the inaugural years of the healing music programs in 1987. Raghavan is a Veena player and served as a teacher in the ashrama school. Raghavan is a regular Veena player for Bhajans.

Sri Sridhar - Flute player - Well known flute player in Mysore music circle. He holds Doctorate degree in Music from Mysore university. A soft and mellifluous blower

Sri Manjunath - Ghatam (pot) player - A versatile rhythm artist who is comfortable on several instruments. He started to come to Ashrama as a small boy along with his father Rajappa (Mridangam player) form the late 60s.

The regular musicians of the celestial message troupe - Sri Jaitra, Ramesh, Mahesh and Mani also accompanied Sri Swamiji.

On 5th November - Sri Swamiji traveled to Dubai and Sri Chakra Puja was held in the Sindhi Samaj Hall. Hundreds of people participated. The Dubai Satsang group sang Bhajans during Puja. After the Puja, Sri Swamiji in a brief discourse called on the devotees to spend time on spiritual pursuits too along with the busy life the country demands.

That evening Healing music concert was held in the Indian High Commission Auditorium. The consul of the High Commission inaugurated the concert. Sri Swamiji played Sarasangi Raga as the healing tune of the day. Sri Swamiji wrote some Telugu poems during the concert.

Sri Swamiji composed over 200 Telugu poems during this tour. It reminded one about the Kannada poems written during the USA tour this year.

On 6th morning, Sri Swamiji addressed the Kriya Yoga students who had taken Kriya Yoga course prior to Sri Swamiji's arrival. Evening Bhajans were held in the Sindhi Samaj Hall.

On 7th Sri Swamiji returned to Bangalore from Dubai.

In the Bangalore Ashrama, well known speaker, Sri Mattur Krishna Murthy, of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan fame spoke on the recently published poems of Sri Swamiji - Chutuku Saptashati
