Pujya Sri Swamiji in Trinidad

Sri Swamiji visited Trinidad from 19th to 27th February 2005 to participate in the 2nd year anniversary of Karya Siddhi Hanuman and other shrines.

Sri Bala Swamiji accompanied His Holiness on His maiden visit to Trinidad after assuming the Sanyasa Ashrama.

Discourse on Bhagavadgita were held in the Dattatreya yoga Centre in Carapichaima village on 20,21 & 22 February.

On Sunday, 20th, Sri Swamiji conducted the annual anniversary Pujas of Dattatreya and Anagha Devi, Sachchidanandeshwara Shiva, Raja Rajeshwari Mata, Ganapathy and Navagrahas. Sri Swamiji performed Abhishekam in all the temples.

In the evening, Sri Swamiji climbed to the feet of the gigantic 85 feet Karya Siddhi Hanuman and performed Abhishekam to the feet of Hanuman. Sri Swamiji emotionally spoke about the dearness of Trinidad and its people to His heart.

On Wednesday 23rd, Sri Swamiji visited Aripo river and bathed along with many devotees.

Thursday 24th saw Sri Swamiji visit Princes town in South Trinidad. The second Ashrama and Datta temple is situated there. Sri Swamiji performed Sri Chakra Puja. During the ensuing Satsang, Sri Swamiji called on many devotees to share their experiences.

On 25th Friday, Sri Swamiji inaugurated a new Mandir in Beauccaro village. Naming it as Lakshmi Narayana Pranava Mandir, Sri Swamiji lauded the efforts of Sieupersad Ramlogan and his children's efforts to promote Sanatan Dharma in the country. Minister of State for Science, Technology and Tertiary education, Sri Satish Ramroop was the present. Sri Swamiji Blessed his efforts in making the dream of Sri Sieupersad Ramlogan come true.

Hanuman Homa was performed on 26th Saturday. In the evening, after Bhajans, foundation stones were laid for the construction of the vehicle of Hanuman, a camel. A large viewing gallery will be built in front of Hanuman.

Sadgurudeva left Trinidad 27th Sunday for England and thence to India.

Abhishekam to the Sachchidanandeshwara Shiva Lingam. Sri Swamiji was in this temple the longest time. Sri Swamiji said that this Shiva Lingam was very powerful.
