Sri Swamiji conducted three day Kriya Yoga course titled "SAMUDRA SANNIDHI " in the beach side Ashrama in Manginapudi village near Machilipatnam in Andhra Pradesh state. The Ashrama is known as Sri Datta Rameshvara because of the bathing wells like in the famous pilgrim town Rameshvara in Tamil Nadu State.

More than 150 students participated in the three day event where Pranayama breathing techniques were taught along with lectures on Patanjali Yoga Sutra Shlokas, Yoga Taravali, healthy food habits, Crystal healing,etc., Sri Swamiji's sparkling discourses on Yoga and life were a treat to hear.

Sri Swamiji announced that he would speak on the great scripture YOGA TARAAVALI in Haridwar Ashrama on 13, 14 & 15 March 2005.

On 23rd early morning, Sri Swamiji along with the Kriya Yoga students performed meditation at the beach front.

The Ashrama here has temples of Shiva, Dattatreya, Anagha Devi, Hanuman and Ganapati. A sprawling new hall connecting the old Mukha Mantapa in front of Nagareswara Swami and new Mukha Mantapa of Dattatreya temple was inaugurated by Sri Swamiji on the day of arrival (20th).

On 21st, Sri Swamiji made a surprise visit to the Hayagreeva temple in Machilipatnam and spoke with the aged and elderly scholar Sri Ananta Padmanabhacharyulu. He was the person who designed the Mysore Ashrama's Datta Venkateshwara Temple according to Vaikhanasa Agama tradition. Sri Swamiji also visited the Yaga Shala in Machilipatnam Ashrama were the consecration related rituals were taking place.

Sri Swamiji walked along the shore on all three days and silently remembered and prayed for more than 40 persons who lost their lives in the Tsunami that struck this small fishermen village of Manginapudi on 26th December 2004. Devotees and the Ashrama performed Annadana during those days to the Tsunami affected victims and the rehab personnel.
