Sri Swamiji’s discourse in Trinidad Ashrama.

Some people have the question - will Swamiji protect and cure if we
follow him? No. Swamiji does not protect them. It is their own devotion
that protects them. I only pray for them.
My job only is to say to God the following "If this person in
future is a help to humanity or service to God, then please protect
him. Please cure his illness. Otherwise do what you wish". Because
so many people take Swamiji's help and forget it totally. They remember
Swamiji only when they have problems again. If you take Swamiji's
help, then you must pay. Pay means what? Pay means pray. That's all.
Not that you should come and massage me. They should come and take
care of Swamiji's centre. Just lip service is not enough. They even
forget Swamiji. They don't evince any kind of interest. I am upset
with such people. In the beginning I feel that that they are my children.
Be careful. Datta Devotees. Please continue Swamiji's mission. Serve
and protect what you have. We are not permanent on this earth. We
vanish one day. Please come again and again and serve. Because, this
centre is Swamiji's body. Money does not matter. Come physically.
I don't need your money. Goddess Lakshmi will come to me even if I
sit in forest. It is your affection that I want. If you give money,
it is your psychological gratitude. Swamiji does not like your money.
Swamiji wants your devotion and affection. Don't speak or think about
others. Don't think, "This person is close to Swamiji".
I like even insects. Can you feel jealous about them? Don't hurt anyone.
Don't hurt yourself. Don't disappoint yourself. Also don't feel important.
I always tell Manasa Datta to be humble and don't feel great. I tell
this to Prasad also. You are here for your own sake. You are here
for your own good at your own will and instinct. You are not here
because of Swamiji's influence. I don't get greatness by your service
to me. I am like a feeling less stone.
Many here feel that though they have come to Ashrama for 20 years,
Swamiji has not recognised them. I don’t care. I don’t
come to Trinidad for your money or for your greatness. I come because
of your love for me. I can just sit in Mysore Ashrama. It is my Kailasa.
It is my Vaikuntha. Sai Baba does not go anywhere. He wishes to sit
in one place. Devotees should go to the Guru. Then, why do I go to
all places? Because, I want to go to you all. But then you misuse
me. I think that less availability is more valuable. If I sit here,
then the whole India will come to see me. When I say whole India,
the devotees in India. Why is Swamiji speaking like this? Because,
I can feel ego and Krodha in this hall. That is why you must practice
Shanti Shanti.
This is my last advice. You can contemplate and check yourself. Behave
like humans. Your elephant like behavior is not wanted here. Learn
more angel qualities. This place is Swamiji place. I always tell Balkrishna,
Renuka, Kalyan and all those members of this centre that they all
are servants of devotees. Behave properly and be careful. Be humble.
Learn humility. Don't always look for faults. Look for your own faults.
First correct yourself. Don't quarrel. I like this country. I like
you people. But I cannot keep coming every year.
From tomorrow, we have Shata Shloki Ramayana. My aunt was teaching
Ramayana, Bhagavad-Gita and Bhagavata. I did not learn any Sanskrit
or Music. I did not learn English. But I struggle to sing, to speak.
But anyway we can sing and chant Ramayana Mantras for three days in
Coosal house. Just listening will bring knowledge and Moksha. Last
year I made Sankalpa in that house. Most of the Shlokas are very easy,
you can even memorise them.
You start to learn some Shlokas from Jaitra now.
