at Jaya Durga Teertham on the occasion of Krishna Pushkaram
Pujya Swamiji has decided to conduct Sri Lalita Nava Koti Nama Parayanam
& Kunkumarchana (Worship with Vermillion with 90 million chanting
of Lalita Sahasra Nama) and Sri Lalita Maha Yagnam. The program commenced
with the procession carrying the Utsava Murty of Sri Marakata Rajarajeswari
Devi from the Vijayawada Ashrama on 26th August 2004.
On 27th August,
celebrations were formally started by Kalasa Sthapanam and connected rituals.
Kunkumarchana commenced with the chanting of Lalita Sahasranama. Hundreds
of devotees have been participating in this Archana after assumption of
Pushkara Lalita Deeksha.
At 2 Pm,
Pushkara Teertha Snanam commenced by Sri Rayapati Sambasiva Rao, an ardent
devotee of Sri Swamiji and Member of Parliament.
Daily Programs
include Abhishekam to Sri Chakram, 9 time Archana to Mother Goddess with
the chanting of Lalita Sahasranama, Trisati Namarchana, Annarchana in
the noon, Sri Lalita Maha Yagam and special Homa Purnahuti in the after
noon; Annadanam, Nadi Puja in the evening.
To mark this Pushkaram, Sachchidanandeswara Siva Linga Pratishtha was
performed on 28th August 2004 at 6 PM on a special altar on the New Bathing
Ghat constructed for this occasion, called Guru Teertham.

Sachchidanandeswara Siva Linga Pratishtha was performed on 28th August
2004 at 6 PM on a special altar on the New Bathing Ghat constructed for
this occasion, called Guru Teertham. Guntur ZP Chairman Sri Paturi Naga
Bhushanam worships.
