"Agni (Fire) Puja is not an experience related to the world of magic or miracle . Saints and savants offer worship to Lord Agni strictly in accordance with the custom and practice prescribed by religion, culture tradition. It is not to be looked upon as an instrument to capture the hearts of disciples and devotees. Before getting into the company of Agni I have to invoke the blessings of the Lord and also the deities controlling the elements in all directions. It is this total purity of purpose, single minded devotion and above all sterling nobility in thought , word and deed that enable me to sit on the lap of Agni, offer worship and come out unscathed."
