Datta Peetham gifts two temples in two Dalit localities in Mysore.

Avadhoota Datta Peetham constructed and gifted two temples to the public in Mysore. A Rama Temple was constructed in JP nagar area and was dedicated on the 28th August 2009

On 2nd September 2009, a Devi Patladamma temple was constructed in Manasa Colony, Kuduremaala area of Mysore city. Along with the temple inauguration, Datta Peetham sponsored 30 marriages of poor Dalit couples. The event drew much acclaim from Dalit leaders and public. They hailed Sri Swamiji's efforts to reach out to the down trodden Dalits. The vision of Datta Peetham to organise prayer facilties in such localities will give them the much needed moorings to culture, tradition and the spiritual values of India said Srinivas Prasad, MLA and himself a leading Dalit leader.
