Mr. Christofer Yene, a well known composer from Denmark, performed
on the Piano in the morning.

In the evening at 5 P.M., Girija Kalyanam (Symbplic marriage of Shiva with Goddess Parvati) was performed at Nada Mantapam

At 6 P.M.,a function was arranged in commemorative of the two
famous musicologists of Carnatic music, Sri. Venkata Makhi and Saint Tyagaraja. More than 50 artists rendered the Pancha Ratna Kritis (songs) composed by Tyagaraja.

The portrait on the left is of Sri. Venkatamakhi, the famous musicologist who introduced the Mela Kartha system of Carnatic classical music. The portrait on the right is of Saint Tyagaraja, the famous composer of Carnatic Music.

On the 12th evening, a Kuchipudi Dance troupe from Andhra Pradesh performed on the theme of "Mahishasura Mardini". The Dance drama was conducted by Sri. Korada Narasimha Rao.
