Whom else shall I meditate upon except the Divine Mother who manifested
from Cidagni (the fire of knowledge)?

Whose glory shall I sing other than the Divine Mother, who killed
the demon Bhanda, who is Srisiva (auspicious) who is Srikala (knowledge)
who is the consort of Shiva and who is All-pervasive.

2:
Whom else shall I meditate upon except the Divine mother, who revived
Manmatha (Cupid-the god of love) back to life, who is the perennial
flow of spiritual brilliance, who is the purifier and who is the
consort of Shiva.

I praise the Divine Mother who is the repository of knowledge and
who dispels fear. I sing Her glory in the time RAMAPRIYA (the time
of this song). I take refuge at the feet of the Divine Mother who
bestows Sat-Cit-Ananda (Truth-Knowledge-Bliss)
