The second day's Navaratri Puja had the worship of the mother Goddess as Raja Rajeshwari. Sri Swamiji performed the Puja and rituals in the prescribed Nava Avarana method. Starting at 8.30 AM, the programmes concluded at 7.30 PM. During the Puja, Ustad Shahid Parvez a Sitar Maestro from Bombay gave scintillating and settled Sitar concert for over two hours. He played Raga Ahir Bhairav as the main piece.

In the afternoon about 50 women from an organization called "Shruti Manjari" sang Bhajans of Sri Swamiji in a pleasing and enjoyable one hour program.

The last concert was by a blind musician of Mysore, Uday Kiran, who has adopted Casio keyboard to play Carnatic classical music, astounded and thrilled everybody by his versatile, ingenuity and agility. The performance was far beyond the capacity of a blind person. He also played popular Bhajans of Sri Swamiji like Anna Purna Jnana Purna, Shankaram Shankaram and Govinda Kanna.

In the evening, Sri Swamiji during the Satsang, sang the new Bhajan "Tvam Sadaashivaasi Chaamba" in Raga Ananda Bhairavi. This new composition was very lively and powerful. Sri Swamiji also sang the last year's Bhajan "Alaya Nilaye Shiva Sati Maam" and the Bhajan of yester years (1960s) "Mata Maheswari Mantra Nilayeswari". Old devotees were in ecstasy to listen Sri Swamiji bringing the old times of 1960s.

The meaning of the new Bhajan of the day - "Tvam Sadaashivaasi Chaamba" :

Devi, you are addressed as Sadashiva, as you have merged in Lord Sadashiva totally. Being the Goddess mother for all the Devatas, you are the princess. Wherever you are located, there is grandeur, power and nobility in the form of Mahalakshmi, Gowri Devi and Saraswati Mata.

Stanza 1: In Jeevas (individual souls) and in Supreme forms of Devatas, you reside in Atmic state. Your radiance causes them to exist. Because you are worshipped forever, you protect all forever. Being praised by the Vedas and all the supreme souls, you have resided in my mind firmly, causing purity and auspiciousness to me. Every moment you have filled me with your light, which gives me joy. I bow down to thee.

Stanza II: In the true Atmic state (state of self hood and realisation), I see you have the true entity to realise. Please be gracious enough to be in my tongue. Oh, Goddess mother in the form of Light (Jyoti), please reside in my mind. Being the form of Pancha Pranas (five Pranas), you please continue to cause joy in my life. Nay, Be always part of my life. Please give me power of Tatva Chintana and thereby make my life God conscious always. By that Tatva Chintana, I should reside in a ever joyous state. Bless me so.
