Pujya Sri Swamiji performed Sri Chakra Puja in the Nada Mantapam at 8:30 AM. During the Puja, the Ashrama Bhajan group sang the new Bhajans of this Navaratri, composed and sung by Pujya Sri Swamiji.

At 11 AM, Her Excellency Smt. Rama Devi, Governor of Karnataka State visited Ashrama to have the blessings of Pujya Sri Swamiji. She watched the Maha Mangalarati performed by Pujya Sri Swamiji in Nada Mantapa. Later, on behalf of Datta Peetham, she gave the first cheque of Rs. 9,00,000/- (nine hundred thousand rupees) to the members of the Amma Vodi project. In June, this year, Her Excellency had inaugurated the Amma Vodi project of Datta Peetham, which is coming up in Hyderabad. Amma Vodi (Mother's lap) is a home for old and destitute women. Later, Her Excellency had personal audience with Pujya Sri Swamiji and later visited the Datta Venkateswara temple.

At 4 PM, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Karnataka, Sri. S.M. Krishna along with his wife came to Datta Peetham and had the Darshan and audience with Pujya Sri Swamiji.

The Devi Rathotsava (Chariot festival) started from the main entrance of Nada Mantapam and went
around the ring road of the Ashrama and reached Sri Datta Venkateswara Temple. Pujya Sri Swamiji performed
Shami Puja in front of the Datta Venkateswara Temple. The chariot continued and reached the Nada Mantapam.

Ms. Mathura Viswanathan of Madras gave an excellent Bharatanatyam dance
performance at Nada Mantapam in the evening.

of Hyderabad. Later, Sri Swamiji gave away the certificates to all the members of Datta Seva.


Puspha Archana (flower Archana) was performed to Pujya Sri Swamiji to mark the conclusion of
Devi Navaratri celebrations at Datta Peetham.
