On the ninth day of Devi Navaratri Celebrations, Mother Goddess was worshipped as Shakti Durgi.

Today, being the Ayudha Puja day, in the morning at 6 AM, Pujya Sri Swamiji blessed the vehicles of Ashrama and of other devotees. Later, He went to the main kitchen of Ashrama and blessed the kitchen Utensils and vessels. Pujya Sri Swamiji also blessed the digital video studio and the computers.

The procession carrying the idol of Devi in the palanquin started from Datta temple and entered Nada Mantapam at 8:30 AM.

Chandi Homa, which started at 9 AM was performed for over three hours. Pujya Sri Swamiji offered the Purnahuti at 12:30 PM.

The only concert of the day was a Carnatic classical vocal duet by Sri. Seshachari and Sri. Raghavachari, popularly known as Hyderabad brothers. The veteran duo gave an excellent performance which included many of Pujya Sri Swamiji's compositions.
