On the eight day of Devi Navaratri Celebrations, Mother Goddess was worshipped as Chandi.

The procession carrying the idol of Devi in the palanquin started from Datta temple and entered Nada Mantapam at 8:30 AM.

The morning music Seva was a Carnatic classical vocal recital by Sri. T.M. Krishna of Chennai. His vibrant voice and excellent rendering captured the hearts of many devotees. "Jai Jai Ganapati" and "Vande Vistruta Lochanam", compositions of Pujya Sri Swamiji, were neatly presented.

The second concert of the day was a Carnatic classical vocal recital by Smt. Vani Satish of Mysore.

After the Dolotsavam programme, Sri Swamiji released a book titled "Sadguru Our Kalpataru" which recounts the miraculous experiences of Mr.Gowri Shankar Jayaraman of USA. Today Sri Swamiji profusely remembered Mata Jayalakshmi.
