On the seventh day of Devi Navaratri Celebrations, Mother Goddess was worshipped as Saraswati, the bestower of Gnana (knowledge).

Pujya Sri Swamiji wearing a white Vastram, started the procession of Mother Goddess Saraswati, in the palanquin at 8.30 AM.

Veena being the instrument of Saraswati, the morning music concert was a Carnatic Veena recital by Dr. Suma Sudindra of Bangalore. She played many Bhajans of Pujya Sri Swamiji.

The second concert of the day was a Carnatic classical vocal recital by Smt. Sukanya Prabhakar of Mysore.

As today was Saraswati Puja, Pujya Sri Swamiji distributed pens to all the devotees, as pen symbolises knowledge.
