Mother Goddess was worshipped as Vishalakshi on the sixth day of Devi Navaratri Celebrations.

The procession of Vishalakshi in the palanquin started at 8 AM, at Datta Temple. After entering Nada Mantapa, Sri Swamiji performed Kumari Puja and Sri Chakra Puja. Later Nava Avarana Puja commenced.

The morning music concert was a Carnatic flute recital by Smt. Mala Chandrashekar of Madras. She displayed excellent blowing of the instrument. Her rendering of Pujya Sri Swamiji's composition, "Sama Gana Lola" was very scintillating.

The second concert of the day was a Carnatic classical vocal recital by Sri. P. S. Muralidhar of Mysore.

Today, Sri Swamiji performed Archana to Devi with betel leaves. After teh Dolotsava, Sri Swamiji released a book called "Mysore Darshana" in Kannada which covers the history and present interesting sites in Mysore.
