Goddess was worshipped as Meenakshi on the fourth day on Navaratri Celebrations.
The morning
programme started at 8.30 AM, with Sri Swamiji starting the procession
of Devi at Dattatreya Temple and going through the ring road entered
Nada Mantapam.
The morning
music concert was a Carnatic vocal recital by Smt. Nityasri Mahadevan
of Madras. She is the grand daughter of Smt. D. K. Pattamal, the renowned
vocalist. Her grandfather was the famous and legendary Mridangam artist,
Palghat Sri. Mani Iyer. Smt. Nityasri gave an excellent performance,
singing many of Pujya Sri Swamiji's compositions. Her melodious and
mellifluous voice was appreciated my everyone.
The second
concert of the day was also a Carnatic classical vocal recital by Smt.
Mala Mohan of Bangalore.

The morning concert was a Carnatic classical by Mrs. Nityasri.

An organisation of Mysore, propagating the method of divine singing,
gave a concert of Pujya Sri Swamiji's compositions in Ashrama.

releases the Telugu book "Devi Navaham". The book contains the
new Bhajans and
story of the nine Devi incarnations, which were are rendered by Sri Swamiji.
