Sri Swamiji performed Sri Chakra Puja and Ganapati Homa in the Nada Mantapam. Later Sri Swamiji released "Datta Peetham", an information booklet on Datta Peetham and it's activities. Sri Swamiji also released "Govinda", an audio cassette containing old Bhajans on Govinda composed and rendered by Sri Swamiji.
At
10 am Pujya Sri Swamiji performed first Abhishekam to Sri Datta Venkateswara
as thousands of devotees participated with devotion. In the evening, a
special devotional concert was conducted by famous artists form Hyderabad
(Andhra Pradesh). Two songs of Pujya Sri Swamiji and several other songs,
for which lyrics were written by the famous lyricist
Sri. Veturi Sundara Rama Murthy and by another famous music director,
lyricist and Composer Yanamandra Subramanya Sharma, well known as Mani
Sharma.
Later, Sri Swamiji sang beautiful Bhajans, the main one being "Govinda Kanna Gopala Kanna".
