Sri Swamiji performed Srichakra Puja and Ganapati Homa in the Nada Mantapam.

Thereafter Sri Swamiji performed Pratishthapana (installation) of the idols of Sri Venkateswara, Padmavati, Ganapati, Dhanvantari and Navagrahas. Then Sri Swamiji performed Kumbhabhisheka (pouring the sacred waters) respectively on the Raja Gopuram (main entrance towers), Ganapati, Dhanvantari, Navagraha, Padmavati and Sri Venkateswara shrines. While Swamiji was performing these rituals, there was a fine circle of light around the Sun, resembling to the Sudarshana Chakra (Vishnu’s weapon in circle form). At the same time, an eagle representing Garuda, the vehicle of Vishnu circled around the temple towers. These two phenomena pointed to the fact that the rituals being performed by Pujya Sri Swamiji were being witnessed by the Gods from above. This is not a miracle but a standing testimony of the Divinity of Guru Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Swamiji, the Supreme Yogi.

Sri Swamiji Himself performed the first Puja to the deities and all the devotees, chanting the divine names of Lord Venkateshwara, queued up to have the first Darshan of the deities .

In the evening the priests conducted the first Kalyanam (marriage of the deities), Datta Venkateswara with the Goddesses Sri Devi( Lakshmi) & Bhoodevi (Mother Earth), Sri Swamiji was present throughout the function and gave clothes to a number of devotees and all the priests. Thus the long cherished dream of Swamiji was fulfilled today with the consecration of Datta Venkateswara Temple. In his benedictory address Sri Swamiji urged the devotees to serve Datta Venkata to be blessed with health, wealth and salvation. The program concluded with the Kakada Harati on the dais and Shayanotsava, the last service to the deities comprising of hymns to pray the Lord to take rest for the day.

Earlier in the day, in a function conducted in Garuda Mantapam , in which Sri. I. V. Subba Rao, Executive officer of Tirupati Tirumala Devastnams, Sri. Hon'ble Justice Sri.
