Today is Parama Pujya Sri Swamiji's 61st Birth day - According to Gregorian Calendar.

After the morning Sri Chakra Puja, Meera Datta, Post Master General of our Karnataka State presented to Sri Swamiji the postal seal which Sri Swamiji was using while being employed by the postal department in 1964. It was a moving event for Sri Swamiji. Sri Swamiji said that He is a post man even today. The date on the seal said - 26 May 1964. Sri Swamiji was presented a post box shaped cake for Birthday cake cutting.

Sri Swamiji used the seal and stamped on the new Tamil Bhakti Mala He then released. The Tamil book - DAIVA VAAKKU (Part 7) was released.

In the morning, there was Pratyaksha Pada Puja to Sri Swamiji by Bala Swami and Prasad.

Later Devotees had the rare opportunity of offering Saligrama as Tulabhaara (weighing) for Sri Swamiji.
In the fore noon, Sri Swamiji visited the Ashrama agriculture fields situated at about 14 kilometres from Ashrama. Paddy, Sugar Cane, Safed Musli, flowers, vegetables, coconuts are grown here.

In the evening, Sri Swamiji played synthesizer healing music for about one hour. Sri Vishveshvaran, Santoor player from Madras was the guest artist and he played along. It was a rare evening Satsang of Santoor accompanying Sri Swamiji's music. Perhaps for the first time.

This evening Sri Swamiji donated One Lakh (one hundred thousand) rupees to the new school being built by the venerable institution BHARATIYA VIDYA BHAVAN. Sri Mattur Krishna Murthy, Director of the Bhavan received the check from Sri Swamiji. Other Bhavan members like Sri K.B. Ganapathy, Editor of the popular eveninger news paper Star of Mysore was present.
