The
58th Birthday celebrations of His Holiness Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda
Swamiji, The 3rd Anniversary of Nada Mantapa and the 1st Anniversary
& 1st Brahmotsavam of Sri Datta Venkateswara Temple were inaugurated
in a solemn and poignant ceremony in Nada Mantapam at 7 PM today.
His
Holiness Sri Bala Gangadharanatha Swamiji of Adichunchanagiri Math
arrived in the Ashrama at 6 PM and spent 30 minutes with Pujya Sri
Swamiji closeted for private discussion. The two Swamijis and Sri
R. Venkataraman, Chairman of the Birthday celebrations committee
visited the Dharma Stoopa en-route to Nada Mantapam in a procession.
Sri Swamiji explained to the Seer of Adichunchanagiri Math the salient
features of the Dharma Stoopam. His Holiness Sri Bala Gangadharanatha
Swamiji was awed at the grand idea and its innovative means of multi
media concept to propagate the message of Dharma, righteousness
and the universal love and brotherhood.
Later,
in the Nada Mantapam, Sri T.R. Krishnappa gave a welcome and introduction
speech. Sri R. Venkataraman offered Shawl and Garland to the Sri
Bala Gangadharanatha Swamiji on behalf of the Ashrama. It was followed
by His Holiness Sri Bala Gangadharanatha Swamiji of Adichunchanagiri
Math lighting the lamp to inaugurate the 58th Birthday celebrations
of Sri Swamiji. Pujya Sri Swamiji lit a lamp to inaugurate the Brahmotsavam
of Sri Datta Venkateswara Temple and the 3rd anniversary of Nada
Mantapam. The priests of the Temple then conducted a brief ritual
to syndicate the beginning of Brahmotsavam. They offered to Sri
Swamiji a Deeksha Kankana (ritual band) which was tied to Sri Swamiji's
right wrist by Sri Bala Gangadharanatha Swamiji . He then offered
a Shawl, Garland and flower bouquet and wished Sri Swamiji a long
and healthy life.
This

audio cassette containing the Morning Hymns (Suprabhata) and other
prayers on Sri Datta Venkateswara composed by Sri Swamiji and rendered

4. Bhajana Yogamu - volume III by Pujya Sri Swamiji - The
third volume of the Telugu Bhajan book containing the Bhajans composed
by Sri Swamiji
5. Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Kruti Mani Mala by Sri Balagangadharanatha
Swamiji - A Kannada book containing the notations for Pujya
Sri Swamiji's Bhajans written by Dr. Padma Murthy.
6. Sadguru Sukti Sangraha by Sri. R. Venkataraman - A collection
of "Words of Spiritual wisdom" of Sri Swamiji on various
topics, Prof. Krishan Kumar collected and edited the book.
7. Visible Almighty by Sri. R. Venkataraman - A collection
of poems on Sri Swamiji written by Sri. Seshagiri Rao of Hyderabad.
8. Sri Guru Samhita by Pujya Sri Swamiji - A Hindi book translated
by Dr. Bhim Sen Nirmal.
Then,
Sri. R. Venkaraman, in his speech, spoke on the greatness of Sri
Swamiji and Datta Peetham.
His Holiness Sri Bala Gangadharanatha Swamiji of Adichunchanagiri
Math in his speech lauded the efforts of Sri Swamiji to keep alive
the Vedic religion and universal brotherhood and interfaith relations.
He paid encomiums to the great architectural marvels of Nada Mantapam,
Dharma Stoopam, Sumeru Dhara, Sri Datta Venkateswara Temple. He
called Ashrama a mini Spiritual Disney Land. He congratulated the
good luck of devotees for having Pujya Sri Swamiji as their Sadguru.
Pujya
Sri Swamiji in his message said that the need for efforts to keep
our tradition and cultural heritage was greatly needed than ever
before. Sri Swamiji praised the activities of Sri Bala Gangadharanatha
Swamiji in the fields of education. Then the two Swamijis left Nada
Mantapam for Sri Datta Venkateswara Temple and Sri Swamiji performed
the Mangala Arati to Lord Datta Venkateswara and explained the various
spiritual aspects of the Temple. His Holiness Sri Bala Gangadharanatha
Swamiji left Datta Peetham at 9 PM
