Sri Swamiji performed Sri Chakra Puja at 7:30 AM in Nada Mantapam.
At 10
AM, the valedictory function of Veda examinations was conducted in
Nada Mantapam. It began by the recitation of Mantras from the four
Vedas by Veda examiners. The dignitaries present on the stage along
with Pujya Sri Swamiji were Sri. R. Venkataraman, Former President
of India and Chairman, Birthday celebrations committee, Hon'ble Sri.
Bhaskar Rao, Chief Justice of Karnataka, Hon'ble Smt. Manjula Chellur,
Justice of Karnataka High court, Sri. Rajendra Prasad, Principal district
and sessions judge and Sri. Sudheer, District judge.

Rao in his speech lauded the efforts of the Ashrama in the field of
preservation and propagation of Vedas. Conducting the examination
for students who study Veda will keep a check on the proper recitation
and pronunciation of the texts, he added.
Smt.
Manjula Chellur then offered to Sri Venkatraman a book written by
her brother in law - Sri P. Viswambara Nath, an English doctor in
UK. He had earlier written a book on Bhagavadgita called Tattvamasi
which was published by Motilal Banarsidass. When Sri Swamiji gave
a surprise visit to his house in 1999, he expressed his wish to write
a book on Sri Swamiji to which Sadgurudeva had consented. This book
which was translated from the original Telugu biography and condensed
to 272 pages was translated and printed in a record time of three
months. The elegantly designed book was released by Sri R. Venkatraman
who in his speech praised the translation and its content. The name
of the book is "Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda - Biography of a
Divine Incarnate".
Later
Sri Swamiji gave away the certificates to the successful Veda students.
Sri Bhaskar Rao honoured the Veda students by giving a Shawl.
