As Navaratri festivities rolled to the 3rd day, Parama Pujya Sri Swamiji continued the Devi Worship today worshipping Mother Goddess as Durgi Lakshmi.

It takes, on a average about 38 steps for Pujya Sri Swamiji to do one Pradakshina around the Mantapa.

Sri Swamiji continued the previous day's system of increasing the Pradakshina for each Avarana. The 1st Avarana had one round, the 2nd Avarana two rounds and continued till the ninth Avarana with nine rounds. After the 7th Avarana Puja, Sri Swamiji performed milk Abhisheka to ruby Sumeru Sri Chakra. The ten minute program was watched with rapt attention by the over flowing public, as today was a public holiday in India for Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti.

In the evening, before the Bhajan program, Sri Swamiji released the much awaited - Updated version of Sri Swamiji's Telugu biography "Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda". This updated version is the ninth edition and has more photos which were discovered after the publication of the first version (Photo of Jayalakshmi Mata's parents, Photo of Venkamma (Sri Swamiji's aunt), Handwriting facsimile of Jayalakshmi Mata etc). The book has gained more than 200 more pages and has been printed with light weight paper. The author, Sri Kuppa Venkata Krishna Murthy, offered the book to Pujya Sri Swamiji. He also presented for released the Telugu book titled "Is there Science in Vedas" from Dr.Subhash Kak's English original. Sir Swamiji also released Datta Peetham's official 2009 calendar. The Bhajan session was ecstatic and wonderful. Sri Kuppa Krishna Murthy eloquently explained the meanings of the Bhajans sung by Sri Swamiji. The new Bhajan of the day was "Kitane Kitane Janma Liye" in hindi language. During the Bhajans, Sri Swamiji made the devotees chant "Jai Jai Mata Di" for a very long duration.
