With these noble intentions, it was
decided to launch an annual convention of scholars under the name and
style Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Veda Sastra Parishat. The first of
the series was conducted in conjunction with illustrious institutions
known for their excellent work in this field, Maharshi Sandeepani Rashtreeya
Veda Vidya Pratishthan, Ujjaini – Madhya Pradesh and Sri Venkateswara
Institute of Higher Vedic Studies of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam.
For 3 days, the entire campus reverberated with powerful Vedic Chants
endowed with delightful speech of Chaste Samskruta Language. To describe
the uniqueness and specialty of this event, we quote Sri Swamiji, who
exclaimed that God Brahma himself has descended in Datta Peetham for
three days and it was the Vilaasa (feat) of Goddess Saraswati.
