Paraajitassannapi drishya jaalaih
Kaalaabhra brindairiva soorya rashmih Tatsarva bhaanaadhikriti ssvabhaavaa Jayatyaho dattagurustameede

Just as the sunrays lose to the dark clouds, He loses to the objects of the apparent world. (It means, He remains unseen. That is, people are able to see only the visible objects in the world and not the Light behind the objects. It must however be remembered that we are able to see the clouds only because there is sun behind them.) Similarly, the Lord is responsible for the visibility of the objects of the apparent world and He is in fact the basis for those objects. I praise the glory of that Lord Dattatreya.
