Ganga Sannidhi Sahivratri at Haridwar
(Feb 19 - Feb 22, 2001)

Important guidelines for registered devotees joining from within India
MOST IMPORTANT

REGISTERED DEVOTEES SHOULD REACH HARIDWAR NOT BEFORE 19TH MORNING. AS THEIR ACCOMODATION IS BOOKED ONLY TILL 22ND FEBRUARY, THEY MUST ARRANGE THEIR DEPARTURE FROM HARIDWAR BY 22ND NIGHT OR 23RD MORNING.

Devotees reaching Haridwar in groups of more than 10 from areas like Chennai, Bangalore, Mysore, Hyderabad, Anantapur are requested to have a group leader. It is suggested that where more than 50 devotees are traveling together, there should be a group leader for every 20 devotees.

There will be assistance counters in front of Haridwar Railway Station as well as on the Haridwar Rishikesh Road Highway from the morning of 19-2-2000. Only the Group leaders should approach the assistance counters to know the location of accommodation for their group members. Please follow this very seriously. (It will be extremely difficult and it will cause a lot of confusion if each devotee starts asking about accommodation.)

  1. Please note that Haridwar will be quite cold, particularly before sunrise and after sunset. As such, devotees should carry adequate woolen clothing with them.
  2. Each devotee should carry a torch.
