Sri Swamiji in the morning gave Purnahuti to the Maha Ganapathy Homam and the arrived for the Navaratri Pujas. As usual the events followed one another... Procession, Kumari Puja, Visarjana of yesterday's nine Sri Chakras, Sri Chakra Puja, Creation of nine new Sri Chakras, Five Avarana Pujas, Anna Archana, Durgi Lakshmi Homa, Remaining four Avarana Puja, Kumkuma Archana, Ksheera Abhisheka, Mudra Puja, Maha Mangala Arati, Pundits chanting from the four Vedas, Upanishad, Shastra, Stotra, and Sangeetha, Dolotsava (putting the idol on swing) and Bhajan and discourse. The events concluded at 7.30 p.m.
The morning music concert was a violin duet by Sri Lalgudi GJR Krishnan and Smt Vijayalakshmi, both children of the famous violinist Lalgudi Jayaraman. The excelled in violin playing which bore t he stamp of Lalgudi school of violin playing. An interesting feature of their concert was the playing and singing (by Vijayalakshmi) of the Swarakshara composition of Sri Swamiji set to Sindhubhairavi Raga. In the year 1993, Sri Swamiji composed several Swarakshara Bhajan. One of those compositions was tuned by Vidwan Lalgudi Jayaraman. His children played them today and Sri Swamiji was so pleased that he asked them to play it two more times. Swarakshara Bhajan is a complete composition consisting of t he Seven Sapta Swaras. It is highly complex and difficult to compose one. Sri R.Ramesh accompanied the artists on Mridangam and Sri E.M.Subramaniam accompanied on Ghatam.
The afternoon as a vocal by Smt..Rama Mani of Bangalore. She rendered a pleasing melodious vocal concert for two hours and sang several bhajans of Sri Swamiji. This was followed by Bhajan singing by Ashrama Bhajan group.
Sri Swamiji in the Bhajan and discourse session sang a new Bhajan "Lalite Lalite Namostute" in Lalita Raga. This Bhajan was composed during Annarchana Puja today. Sri Swamiji briefly explained the meaning of this Bhajan.
Sri K.V.Prasad, renowned Mridangam Vidwan accompanied Sri Swamiji during the Bhajan session. Ashrama Mridangist R.S.Ramesh, Sri. K.V.Prasad and Sri Ramanuja (on Morsingh) performed a brisk and pacy Tani Avarthanam.
